Mental Health

&

Wellness

Past or recent trauma?

Not sure how to regulate your emotions?

Arguing with your partner more?

Feel unsure of yourself?

Our approach to therapy is like getting into a rowboat with you, exploring around together, and helping you find a path that you might not have been able to see on your own.

Everyone has a story. We want to hear yours and work with you to write your next chapter from an empowered place. By integrating both evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and wellness work, such as mindfulness and physical wellness, we collaborate on what fits your individual needs and help you to explore patterns, identify goals, and learn skills to facilitate growth and recognize potential for change.

We continuously seek opportunities where we can serve the underprivileged, those in distress, and those in need.

We aim to make mental and physical healthcare more accessible to all by providing sliding scale options and offering a variety of no-cost wellness classes, resources and events.
We strive to build a community where people of all walks of life can gain support, live and sustain a fulfilling life.

TELEHEALTH

INDIVIDUAL
PSYCHOTHERAPY

If you want therapy but the commute is too much, or your work schedule is hectic, or you live out of town- then no worries because online therapy is an effective and straightforward solution.

Many clients find that they prefer the ease and convenience of teletherapy. Sessions can now take place wherever you feel most comfortable without all of the travel time and scheduling conflicts.

Book a complimentary consultation today to find out if online therapy is right for you.

Individual psychotherapy is the one-on-one work between a therapist and a client. There are many different styles of therapy, but all of them center around helping the client reach his/her/their goals. This is a unique relationship in that it is strictly confidential and provides you an opportunity to be completely honest with yourself and another person. Therapists are there to support you and help you reach your goals. Individual therapy has been shown to improve mood and self-esteem. In fact, studies show that talk therapy, the process of developing a relationship with a licensed mental health professional to work through emotions, thoughts, disappointments, and experiences can be even more effective than medication alone in treating depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.

It is crucial that you feel comfort and a connection with your individual therapist. In fact, a good alliance with your therapist is the greatest determining factor in whether therapy will be helpful.

INDIVIDUAL TARGETED CASE MANAGEMENT

INDIVIDUAL
& GROUP PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION

We provide private Targeted Case Management (TCM) to better enable our clients to gain access to needed medical, clinical, social and educational services to improve the quality of their lives. This includes:

1). Coordinating Services, Resources & Plans              2). Linking clients to outside Services & Resources     3). Accessing, Assessing and Advocacy

(i.e., Linking and Referring to Needed Services;         Assessment/Reassessment of symptoms and             progress; Helping a client obtain something they     desire by aiding in eliminating barriers).

4) Monitoring

(i.e., monitor progress of/make adjustments to          treatment plan objective).

5). Planning

(i.e., working with a client on any specific aspect        of their goals and needs, or by participating in a        treatment planning conference with a client, the        client’s other providers and any natural supports.)

People with mental health challenges and other psychiatric concerns often need help in different aspects of their lives including work, living, social, and learning environments. One approach that can help people manage symptoms and improve functioning is known as psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR).

The goal of psychosocial rehabilitation is to teach emotional, cognitive, and social skills that help those diagnosed with a mental health disorder live and work in their communities as independently as possible. This is accomplished through teaching and support in learning and performing basic living skills, family relationships, peer and social relationships (i.e., communication skills), employment, education, recreation, health, and wellness.
